Izzy Cocuzza

Izzy Cocuzza is a photographer and designer based in Wilmington, Delaware. In 2024, they graduated from the University of Delaware with a Visual Communications Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. They are published in the The Photo Review Journal and have received the Laurie Frankel Photography Award.

As beauty is overlooked in the everyday, Izzy seeks to highlight the ordinary through their portraiture and architectural photography. They manipulate and shoot the tactile to present their perspective of reality- the way they believe the world was meant to be seen. Their subject matter consists of people, the man made, and interactions between. Izzy frames the mundane as fantastical in their cinematic, dreamlike, and spontaneous shots. Therefore, their work finds a home in naturalism with photography. 

The compositions deserving of appreciation already exist-

we just have to find them.
